Now Google search can see and hear
Google has come up with a new tool that enables its user to search for information by just taking picture with mobile phones or spoken words instead of typing keywords. In simple words we can say that Google search is getting eyes and ears.
Google Goggles is a free reality application for mobile phones, based on Android operating system that lets people search online using pictures. You have to just connect your mobile phone to the internet and it becomes an eye or ear. You can take a picture or speak some word and use it as query. Finding a match Google will return with the name and other information about what you were looking and will also provide list of relevant web pages.
Google will identify the location of the phone user through the GPS software and digital compass built in many mobile phones that run Google’s Android operating system.
According to company it can recognize millions of objects and places. An experimental version of Goggles will be available for people at Google Labs website.
This application is definitely very helpful for those who want more information about the things that they’re viewing. For example, if you are viewing a historical place or landmark and want some more information about it, what you will do? Google Goggles could solve your query. If your mobile runs on the Google Android operating system, you could take a picture, and Google will return back with information you required. Same case is with any product or thing. For many search queries, using a picture to search is easier and more useful than text only.
Google has really transformed into somewhat more than a sheer search engine. Google has been busy escalating its search in nearly every direction available and making it easier for people to execute the same.

That is a nice information you bring to us. I think Google is about to lunch Web3.0 which will be completely self learning search technology based on Facts, Pictures, User search history, location, etc…
Technology you discussed is already in advance version by a India expert named ” Pranav Mistry” Under TED. HE developed Sixth Sense device which can read human actions by hand and also find related information….
Looking forward for your next information!! Bookmarked.
