Now make your Google search more personal through STARS

No Comments »March 11th, 2010

Google has come up with yet another way to personalize search results. Now Google let you “star” search results that you like, just like the star feature in other Google products like Gmail, Reader, and Google News. When you star results you like, you will get them at the top of your results the next time you search a query significant to them.
To star the results, you had to simply click the star marker on any search result or map and the next time you perform a search, that item will appear in a special list right at the top of your results when significant. seo.com/index.php/2010/google-search-more-personal-through-stars/#more-343″ class=”more-link”>(more…)

In present scenario the most important thing is to focus on Twitter to build your social relevancy because tweets are showing up in Google real-time search within minutes. You will have to work hard to build up a genuine following and really good tweets in order to be there. But also not to forget other online communities like Facebook, Myspace, Linkedin, Youtube, etc, to strengthen your social eminence.
